New Update For Bing Answering Process Responding in Yes/No

The latest update from Bing search engine is regarding the modification in answering process. The search engine can now answer in yes or no for respective queries and regarding this, the announcement was done on last Tuesday. This one-word answering feature is now available on Bing. Few queries will also come with option like refining the search for more particular answer. A simple click on the updated refined search option will bring to the results for the respective query, can also display yes/no summary. At the moment, this feature is working in US but soon will expand to more markets.

How It Works
To understand the working of this new feature, lets have a look over this example:
"Chocolate is toxic to dogs" means dogs can't eat chocolate (inferred by Bing's Natural Language Representation (NLR) model) despite sources not explicitly stating so.

Bing began with a pre-trained language model to create this feature, and is adjusted to perform two separate, complementary tasks: assessing the document passages relevancy with respect to the search query, and providing a definitive “Yes” or “No” answer by ingesting and summarizing multiple sources.

Why It is Important
It makes the task more concise and provides more specific answer with this advance search feature accompanied by number of sources highlighted carousel. SEOs and Webmasters should have proper keyword tracking for the well performing keywords triggering this feature, and supervise how their traffic and impressions shift with the change.
